Other Materials

  • Materials for Hispanic Pedestrians and Bicyclists from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
    In an effort to reduce pedestrian and bicycle fatalities involving newly-arrived Hispanic immigrants, NHTSA has made available these traffic safety materials in Spanish (e.g., posters, brochures, radio announcements, et al) for use by local, State, and national traffic safety advocates in our combined effort to educate these newly-arrived individuals on pedestrian and bicycle safety in the United States.

  • Safer Pedestrian Journey
    The Safer Journey CD (which is in English and Spanish) teaches pedestrian safety by tracing the path of John (a teenager) as he travels through town. The user must use their knowledge of pedestrian safety to help John make critical safety decisions as he travels on foot. This is also available in a CD Rom, which can be ordered here.

  • Safer Bicycle Journey
    The Bicycle Safer Journey CD (which is in English and Spanish) teaches bike safety by tracing the path of John (a teenager) as he travels through town. The user must use their knowledge of bike safety to help John make critical safety decisions as he travels on by bike. Not available online, but can be ordered in a CD Rom format here.

  • Marketing Plan
    This marketing plan presents the recommendations about the audience, the safety issues to be addressed, the types and format of messages, the media, and the potential methods of dissemination of the outreach materials. Also included in this marketing plan are the results of the background research conducted in the development of the marketing plan.
