Other Federal Funding Sources
For funding assistance in developing a sign management program, State Planning and Research funds and State and Community Highway Safety Grants (or “402 Safety Program”) are also potential funding sources, provided the need can be supported by existing crash data. Funding under these programs must fit into your state’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
