* Some agencies may not have the capability to conduct all MASH tests. Laboratories conducting crash tests according to NCHRP Report 350 or the AASHTO Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware after September 24, 2009, must be accredited to ISO 17025 if the reports are to be submitted to the FHWA for acceptance purposes. Safety hardware developers are advised to discuss accreditation status with test houses they contact.
