FHWA, in cooperation with AASHTO/AGC/ARTBA Joint Committee's Task Force 13 is progressing towards establishing a requirement for Laboratory Accreditation of test houses in the future. A number of facilities listed here have already been certified by various accreditation organizations. Safety hardware developers are advised to discuss accreditation status with test houses they contact.
