Dear Mr. Cummings:

Thank you for your February 22, 2007, correspondence requesting the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) acceptance of your company's model ACME AF temporary sign stand with a galvanized or painted finish and using aluminum laminate substrate signs for use on the National Highway System (NHS). Accompanying your letter was a copy of a letter that proves your company, Acme Barricades LC, has permission to utilize the acceptance letter WZ-75 issued to Middle Georgia Signs, Inc. to reproduce the design meeting the specifications of the previously accepted sign stand Model MGS48A. The permission letter is enclosed for reference along with a drawing of the sign stand. Based on the information received, your company's model ACME AF temporary sign stand with a galvanized or painted finish utilizing previously accepted aluminum laminate substrate signs is acceptable for use on the NHS under the provisions of the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Report 350 "Recommended Procedures for the Safety Performance Evaluation of Highway Features."

Please note the following standard provisions that apply to the FHWA letters of acceptance:

Sincerely yours,
