The eight ASAP awardees and the projects selected for funding are as follows:

  1. Alabama
    • Project: High Friction Surface Treatment Workshop and Demonstration.
    • Partners: Madison County, AL DOT, and AL FHWA Division Office.

  2. Florida
    • Project: Workshop to Improve Florida's Intersection Safety.
    • Partners: FL T2 Center, FDOT Safety Office, and FL FHWA Division Office.

    • Project: Local Road Safety Plans
    • Partners: FL T2 Center, FDOT Safety Office, Aluchua County and FL FHWA Division Office.

    • Project: Florida Roundabout Symposium
    • Partners: Partners: FL T2 Center, City of Gainsville, and FL FHWA Division Office.

  3. Indiana
    • Project: Developng Horisontal Curve Data Inventory for Local Indiana Roads.
    • Partners: IN LTAP, University of Wisconsin, and IN FHWA Division Office.

  4. Kentucky
    • Project: Roadside Improvements for Rural Roads Worskhop in Lexington, Norther Kentucky (Erlanger/Burlington area), Hopkinsville, and Bowling Green.
    • Partners: KY Association of Counties, KY Transportation Center, KY LTAP, KY Transportation Cabinet, and KY FHWA Division Office.

  5. North Carolina
    • Project: Traffic Calming Workshop
    • Partners: NC LTAP, NC DOT, and NC FHWA Division Offices.

  6. Pennsylvania
    • Projects: PA LTAP Curve Study Assistance, PA LTAP Speed Study Assistance.
    • Partners: PA LTAP, PennDOT, and PA FHWA Division Office.

  7. Tennessee
    • Project: Improving Intersection Safety: Leading Pedestrian Interval and Yellow Change Interval.
    • Partners: Cities of Chattanooga and Memphis, TN DOT, TN LTAP Center, and TN FHWA Division Office.

  8. West Virginia
    • Project: Pedestrian Safety Peer Exchange
    • Partners: WV LTAP, WV DOT, and WV FHWA Division Office.
