The four “breakaway” items listed below were originally placed on a miscellaneous list as they were neither sign nor luminaire supports. They will remain on the “Barrier” list and their designation will not be changed, however they are also listed in this section of our site as they are indeed breakaway devices meeting the criteria in NCHRP Report 350 as well as the AASHTO support specification.
