As stated previously, this report is a snapshot of some best management practices—currently under real-world deployment—within agencies around the nation; it is not intended to be a comprehensive guide to managing roadside trees and poles. There have been a number of other works written about tree and pole management strategies and additional research is being proposed within the industry.
