Definition: Storage length of exclusive left turn lane(s) (not including taper).

Illustration shows an intersection of two-lane roadways, with one approach having an exclusive left-turn lane. An arrow indicates that the left turn lane length is measured from the  end of the left-turn lane taper (where the full left-turn lane width begins) to the curb line of the intersecting roadway.
